Comments: |
| Frost covers the ground most morning adding to the slow pace of the corn harvest. Corn is coming closer to being finished while farmers are now taking semi's and wagons in to the elevators at night to get in line for the next day. Moisture content continues to be high and now with the short days and cool weather this corn crop will have a hard time drying down. Volatile markets are a common thing this fall with some days changing 30 to 40 cents in one day. The dollar has been a big driving factor this far and we are even seeing high export demand for soybeans to be pushing prices higher. |
