Comments: |
| Excellent planting conditions have allowed corn planting to occur in record time, with a few showers over this past weekend to slow things down. Market trends for both crops over the past week have been lower due to the dollar gaining strength from problems in Europe. China has been a large importer of corn over the last couple of days to help push corn prices back higher. The future outlook on markets are large supplies of both corn and soybeans will push prices lower as we head into fall. Weather conditions, the dollar, and commodity demand will play large factors as well throughout the summer. |
