Comments: |
| This past weeks dry weather has allowed farmers to get the soybeans sprayed which has been a challenge. Most of Northwest Iowa has recieved 10 to 15 inches of rain in the month of June which is nearly half of the this areas yearly precipitation totals. The grain markets have rallied after recent lows due to the USDA's Crop Acreage and Conditions report showing a decrease in corn planted acres compared to previously estimated acres. Also ending stocks were lower and demand was higher showing that low 2009 crop test weights have finally hit the supply and demand chain. |
