Comments: |
| The weather is cold and wet leaving everything out in the fields at a standstill. Temperatures are too cold to allow fast new growth on corn and emergence on soybeans. A 8 hour frost hit early sunday morning the 9th of May stunting emerged corn and turning the leaves black. We need some warm weather to allow the plants to put new growth on and escape plant diseases that might move in. The corn market is slightly up due to increased demand talk from China and speculative buying. |
