Comments:

The grain markets have pushed higher over the last week with the leading positive market factor coming from a shortage in supply of soybeans. Soybean cash bids are higher than future bids creating a positive basis which shows there is a large demand for soybeans. The corn market has tagged along with the soybean market but has not shown too much gain over the last week. Weather conditions have improved from being too wet to slightly moist. Surface ponds have drained away but today's rainfall may bring back some standing water on poorly drained low areas. Crop conditions continue to be good to excellent on well drained areas and average to poor on poorly drained areas.
