Nathan Deters AFM

Corn and soybeans have made good progress over the last week. A few of the areas that had heavy rain a week ago have yellow areas that are water logged. Also, a few areas will need to be replanted due to drowning loss.

Corn herbicide application will be finishing up at the end of this week. The markets have teetered back and forth all week. The current long term of favorable weather throughout most of the midwest has caused the market pressure. There is no need to build any weather premium into the market.
